Adolescents

I have a special interest in working with adolescents. Identity formation and strengthening a sense of self within the context of community is central to their development. I specifically enjoy working with girls around issues of anxiety/depression and identity. We explore values, friendships, passions, school, and family, among other things. Establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is critical in our work.  I work with parents to support their child through empathy and healthy communication.
